Since moving from Memphis to Manhattan, Georgi has been working in fashion, sports television, childcare, and textile product development. However, it was during the pandemic that she discovered her true passion— embroidery. With uninterrupted silence in her shared one-bedroom apartment in Yorkville, she self trained majority of the day, for months on end.

With a BFA in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Georgi has continued to grow her design and production skills working at companies such as Proenza Schouler, Disney, CBS, Bode, Lady & Butler, and Storytellers & Creators. Over the years she has prioritized developing her craft as well as her personal relationships with other storytellers.
